Is there such a thing as

I need to know if there is such a thing as Saltwater Fish Anonymous.....it's getting bad. I just bought another tank, 46 bow front, this makes #3. This hobby is addictive! I've not decided what i'm going to do with this one, my first tank is a 20 reef, second one is 22 cube that is cycled and will be fish and low light corals.
I would love some suggestions/ideas for something different for the 46 bow. It does not have lighting for corals and probably won't for quite awhile....

macro algae/seahorse tank. there are tons of cool algaes they dont require great lighting. it would be like a plant FW tank only marine with hippocampus.

I have a feeling that that is going to be my house one day. I have 3 tanks -
29 Bowfront FOWLR, 35 Hex Currently home to my SFE, but one day to be a seahorse tank, and my 55 gallon that is cycling and soon to be my SFEs new apt. My daughter is almost 3, and loves animals. I'm surprised we made it through easter without ending up with a bunny or baby duck. I'm sure the hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, etc are still to come. The fact that she already feeds an eel at 3 (yes only with dad's close supervision ) kind of :scared: me in regards to what may end up in my house.
STEPHISH good luck with your decision and your new addiction.

I agree this hobby is addicting. I have only had my 46gal bow front for about a month or so and already want another tank. From reading the post on here I am guessing that the addiction will never go away. I love the comment about the $6 rocks with goo. that is so true.

LOL and $20+ for a bag of sand? yeah it's bad. I did not intend to purchase a tank today, just the black background for the 22. It was on sale for a price I couldn't pass up, that's my story and i'm sticking to it!

Fishwanabe - Here's a pic of my pom pom or should I say Pom Claw, she only has one anemone. She's pretty amusing some days she comes out and wanders around right up front and sometimes I go 2-3 days without seeing her. She's pretty particular about her space, if I put a frag of something too close to her home she has no problem dragging it over the edge and watching it fall to the bottom of the tank. She only had one pom when I get her and for awhile it grew a bit. Oddly when she molts she picks it back up in the same claw. She eats bits of mysis and brine and whatever else she finds during feeding time, i've even seen her eat pellets a couple of times.

I'm not ready to admit that it's a problem, just an addiction.
it will become a problem when my husband gets back in town and notices it.

I like the comment about the $6 per lb rock with goo. How about the fact that we fill a container with salt water and stick a bunch of electrical equipment in it then stick our hands in there on a regular basis.
Yea we are a sad lot.
By the way the first step to kicking an addiction is to get all of the offending things out of the house so you are not tempted. So all of you send me your stuff. All of it. Don't cheat.
Just trying to do my part to help others....
