not to contradict, but looks like aiptasia to me. if it doesnt retract into a tube ints probably a glass anemone and you will want to kill it.

I think they said it retracted. And there seems to be a little tube there that the fan is hanging from.

The impression i got when they say it retracts was just that it retracts, they didnt say if it retracts into a tube or not. so ifigured i would throw the tube in as a quantifier. hopefully the OP will chime in again.
