is this a good light setup for my 35 gal hex?

hey guys, i have just built a canopy for my tank and i am ready to get started i think....lol.....i have a 175 MH 10k bulb along with 2 mini coral life 50/50 20 watts(times 2 for a total of 40 w)...is this enough light and what kind of light schedule do i need to be on? do i run all the lights for just 12 hours a day? thanks guys!!!!!

That's plenty of light. Make sure to keep that thing high up over your water so you don't cook your corals once you add them.

If it isn't causing your tank to get hot. The LFS I frequent has a 175W MH over a 58 gallon regular type tank and they have it 10" above the water. When you start adding corals you will want to be sure to start them off LOW in the tank and move them higher as needed.
