I am thinking of buying a JEBO high power compact light. Does anyone know if this product is good? I don't want something that gets too hot. I have a 55 gallon and I would like to get a bta.

If you want to get bta I wouldnt go with this type of lighting. I personaly have seen a 300 gallon tank run on VHO's and they had a huge carpet anenome.(spelling) If you are looking to get some corals and an anenome I would look to get at the very least VHO's. Some might agree with me some might not. If you have any questions, send me a private message and Ill explain. dustin

Spend the money and get MH adn a chiller. Then you dont ever have to worry about you temp, even in the summer, IF YOU do routine maintence (cleaning the condenser) on your chiller. Adn you wont have to blast the AC
