Is this a good metal halide bulb?

I was just wondering if this brand of metal halide mogul bulb is any good: PlusRite (250 watt)

I am not familiar with metal halide bulbs at all. This is my first one. The brand listed in post 1 is the brand that it came with.
I guess I am trying to figure out if it is necessary to change bulbs now, or when I am going to replace it.

What kind of a fixture is this? Plusrite is a standard halide manufacturer, not an aquarium bulb manufacturer if I'm not mistaken.
Do you know what the color temperature rating of the bulb is?

I bought this off the big

site for $125. It is a 250 watt refurbished ballast. The box the bulb is in says nothing about that.

Are those XM bulbs probe or pulse? I have a probe start system that I'm running 14K Hamiltons in right now, but I just added supplemental T5 actinic and I wanted to replace with 10K when I hit my 1 year mark in a few weeks. If you have 10K XMs, how's the color rendition?

Here is a description of the 10k XM bulb:
* 10,000K Color Temperature, without a 10,000K price!
* Excellent with or without Actinic supplementation (most prefer with Actinic).
* Operate on a probe start ballast, ANSI M58.
* Standard Mogul base.
* Will work on Hellolights 250W Electronic ballast and other 250W e-ballasts by other manufacturers.* Note: this bulb will not work on the Coralife Sun-System pendants. We do not carry any bulbs that will work with that item. Coralife has discontinued Sun-System pendants.

Kewl...
Wondering if anyone can actually testify to their real color also... seems like 10K can look like anything from sky blue to potty yellow.
