Is This A Killer??

i noticed my lta has been tucked in a little and that is not normal.
everything is fine (ammonia and such) but i noticed a white little ball like a fungis on him. im worried sick wondering if this is the cause of him hidding a little bit. dont get me wrong he is still big but about half extended as he should be.........sooo.......

Could it have been scraped on a nearby rock? It looks to me like the outer part of the foot has been scraped away and its insides are showing, but I could be way off base here.
For the time being, I'd try to make sure it got as much light as possible, make sure nothing's picking on it, and possibly offer it food and see if it's interested. If it's interested in food, I'd think that would be a good sign. But again, I really don't know for sure. Just scrambling for some ideas because I know you're worried, and it might help just to hear something.
I hope he gets better! (I also hope someone can give you a definite answer.)

he is fine now after i moved him, he is just a little stressed. everythings fine now
