Is this a mushroom?

Just noticed this guy in my tank. It's about the size of a small pea, and this is the best pic I could get. Looks kind of like a baby mushroom to me. This is my first hitch-hiker.

That would be cool. But I don't think I have the environment for them. Sure took this guy a while to show up. I've had all my LR for 3 months. Could it have come in on a snail's shell? (I just got 10 of them)

1) the anemones mentioned are pest anemones and not necessarily good to have

2) No need to worry, however. That is a small feather duster. Common and will not grow larger.

I just noticed an even smaller one not far from it. I hope they are good ones to have. On a side note, I saw it curl up the other day, I think a fish distrubed it, but it turned into a tube like shape like the stalk on a feather duster. I think y'alls fan worm / feather duster prognosis is probably correct. Thanks.
I'm so excited... wahoo!

They are nice to have. I have some bright red ones that are getting up there in size that started from littles ones on my live rock.
