definitly in the same family is it big or small.....
if its samell they are called strongus or something and they multiply rapidly....there were 6 in my fuge and now theres like 20

this is about 2 inches long and about 1 1/4 inch in diameter at the widest. She likes to burrow into the sand so only a portion of the shell is exposed. Recently, diatoms have turned up on the dsb and I have no clue why. The last rock added was about 1.5 months ago but it wasn't live rock. It went in because I bought an anemone that was attached to it.
If this snail starts on the diatoms, I will get more. There are bunches of them at the beach during low tide. I just have to quarentine them for a while...

Not a queen, the shell is too spikey and where the snout comes out is different. here is a pic of my queen conch for comparison.
