is this a sufficient lighting system for my tank

is this a sufficient lighting system for my 125 gallon tank 72x18x18
i am considering the following :
Aqua Medic Oceanlight 72" T5 8x39 watt lighting system
it equals about 2.5 watts per gallon of t5 lighting.
i am interested in maybe getting :
clams
corals
more color on live rock
if not enough, please state how much more needed. little confused about the wattage thing.

What kind of corals are you thinking that will make the difference... but for all of the rest it looks good... I prefer MH lighting...

For clams you're going to want more than that. (14) 39w bulbs should be plenty.

I'm with Wango. Unless you want to go MH.

Go MH. There is no better if you have quality bulbs and refectors. T5s are great but limiting and you will spend more getting the T5 lighting comparable with MH. There is a wide range of k values available. Go with 14k-20k and you won't need to bother with actinics.

doesn't specify that ,but wrote to the person for my clarity. brand new.made in china

that's what they all say. i wouldn't trust them. some of the off brands have been know to catch fire.
