Is this a Trachyphyllia spp?

Hey, I received this coral yesterday and I'm trying to ID it. I think it's a Trachyphyllia - Open Brain? I'm probably wrong :)
I created a base for it out of Aquamend.
It's about 8" down from the surface under a 250 watt hqi MH; do you think that's cool? Coral is about 3" across.
Any info would be great!

Imo that is what it is but mine does reall good on the sandbed not to much light. when it opens during day should look real fleshy and twice as big. Yours looks to me like it is in to much light.

He looked a little stressed today so I moved him down to the sand bed. I'm going to attempt to feed tomorrow. Any ideas as to what I should feed him? I feed my other brain clam bits but he doesn't seem to be very picky. Any ideas would be great.

Since he's still attached to his rock... should he be facing straight up or does that matter?
