Thanks for the information. I always questioned if that was a known fact that corals were ok to go straight into the tank or if it was an accepted rumor by word of mouth. I am glad I got to read that and I will take that into consideration when buying my corals. Also, I would like to add, sorry if I felt that I was questioning your knowledge on the subject, I was mearly trying to find out where the info was coming from so that I could read it myself and see why the differences between coral and other invert acclimations were so drastic. Thanks again spanko!

Oh I take absolutely no offense to your questions. The only way any of us learn is by asking and by getting multiple views on any subject and forming our procedures from there. I am also sure that what is acceptable today may in fact be taboo tomorrow, but all we can do is go by what we have.
Please also be aware that this is only about acclimation. It does not mean you should not do QT of Iodine dipping or any other method to ensure a clean pc. goes into your display. Only the drip acclimation to me and my research in not a necessary thing.

UPDATE:
1 stalk has attached! I kept it near the bottom last night to ensure that he would not blow away. I will be moving it to a stronger flow area today

The other one is still not attached, so hopefully within the next couple days that stalk will attach too!
