Hi Everyone. I am getting ready to buy my tank. I was going to get a 75 gallon 4ft x 18" tank..but I realize I have a better location for it and can do a 125!! Yippeeee.
Now, I wanted to do a refugium being that EVERYONE seems to say that it is the best filtration method. But I also found out I NEED a QT.
Being that I have no place to put a 20 gallon QT..I am considering putting it underneath in the cabinet..and setting it up there. Personally, I do not want to look at the tank too often and can check on the fish and such in there..PLUS..I don't have anywhere to put it other than a very cold garage.
Is this crazy? Would I take away too much by doing that and putting a smaller refugium?
The only reason I am doing this is because I was told I need to keep a QT on 24/7 just in case. I never knew that nor did anyone at the LFS tell me that. But I want to do everything as to avoid future problems.
