also posted on new hobbyists...not sure where to go with this!
pls see two green spheres at top of pic. its been growing on my LR...will it explode? is it a danger? help pls to ID this!

Those two green spheres are bubble algae. If they grow big enough they will pop and produce spores all over your tank.
Best way to get rid of it is take out the rock (if possible) and just pull it off. If you can't take out the rock, you can try pulling it off in the tank. If you do this take your suction hose right by it while you are doing it just in case it pops, then you suck up all the spores.

not dangerous persay just annoying. they spread by spreading sporesz when poped. an emerald mithrax crab will eat them or you can remove them physically by hand. try not to pop them in your tank. removing the rock to take them of it is best then rinse to wash spores off the rock.
as a side note there is also a red version of that that will flouresce under actinic light.
