I went to the fish store and i was looking for the Derasa Clam, because someone said I could get it with my lighting and all they had were the Maxima Clam and they said that they require moderate lighting, but mostly phytoplanton or microplankton(one of those types of plankton). They said I could get one with the lighting I had and all I had to do was feed the clam this plankton stuff.

they were tyring to make a buck. Or well.... many....... maximas require some of the highest lighting as far as clams go. and all clams need additions of phyloplankton for feedings.
i have heard of derasas being kept with moderate PCs. however, i have never seen it done personaly. plus they get 2 feet long and grow quickly i hear......
