Is this for real?

I saw an ad for a "reef package" clean-up crew for a 150 gal. tank. It included about 40 hermits and 120 asst. snails. Is that really a recommended number for a 150 gal. tank? Seems like I'd be overrun with way, WAY too many critters walking and sliming their way around. :notsure:

that is a lot of clean up. I got a 90 gallon that I only have:
2- serpent stars
20-25 hermits (most very small)
about 25 snails.
I think that amount of snails would be a little overboard

if it were me i would switch the number of hermits with the number of snails. the hermits are so much better, and generally you want one per gallon in your tank. I have about 90 in my 75, but i feed heavily because i breed

I agree with fishgeek, depends on how much cleanup you have. I have a lot of cleanup because I too overfeed but I like my fish fat and happy.

i recommend going with a cleanup for a smaller tank than yours (my 125gallon i bought a 75 gallon cleanup crew...)

Really? 1 per gallon? Seems like a lot, but what do I know. I guess if I get overloaded I could set them free in Galveston bay.
