Is this a good package for my first Cleaning Crew? If it is I am going to get it today.
Big 20 + 2 Package
20 Scarlet Reef Hermits
20 Blueleg Hermits
20 Turbo/Astrea Snails
2 Emerald
2 Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp

It looks good to me. BUT...
My advice is just buy what you need. You can overstock your tank with a lot of cleaning critters the same way you can with fish.
I would ask: What is in the tank now? and What kind of setup do you have? I assume you have some live rock...

i think i've been hearing some nasty things about blue leg hermits. do a seach on the board before you buy it

I have 90lb of lr and 40lb ls that is totally covered in brown and green algae. I am talking covered, as well as the glass.
I have hear bad things about the blue leg crabs as well but I think if they have plenty of shells they are OK (correct me if I amy wrong anyone)

I have only read about bad blue hermits here. I have had them before and did not notice any problems. In my experience the Blues are hardier than the Reds. Kind of a toss-up I guess. Unless you feel the need to get both kinds I would suggest getting either the Blue or Red. Play it safe if there is a question, after all a hermit crab is a hermit crab.
