Yes there is aggression. But he is the top fish. I have five damsels in a 55gal. Ever since i added the LR they seem to fight over diffrent spots and this guy want all the spots.

Its probably a wound from one of the other damsels. Iv also hear damsels are resistant to ick. But just what I heard.

damsels are not resistant to ich...i have 2 domino's that have had ich in the past.

looks like an abrasion from the LR, I would put him in QT until he heals.

i had a damsel get beat(not by me, another fish) and had those same markings, they healed within in a week-
