Is this lighting any good?!?!?

Hi
I am new to the whole fish thing but I am about to purchase a 5ft light fixture hood.. It has:
2 X 400 Watt Metal Halide
4 X 65 Watt Power Compact Combo
My question is, is the metal halide too strong? Someone told me to get 2 X 250 but I thought the more light the better?

Again, 2 x 400 is quite a bit, especially for 150g. I'm not sure if it's *too much*, but I'd change it if I could.
Where exactly are you getting these/brand?
