yeah it's kind of gross but that's what it's for. That's your tank telling you it's glad you added a skimmer.

Thats great that your skimmer is working! It is just getting all the pee, poo, and extra things that might be harmful to the fish out of the water.Have you smelt the brown stuff yet?
