Is this normal?

I noticed this discoloartion on my tang tonight when all the light were off, never really noticed it before, is it normal?

yes it is normal when the lights are out and when they are sleeping. no worries, there skin gets a little lighter and the white line is very noticable.

Oh man, thank god, it totally had me freaked out. Never seen that before, I don't usually look at my aquarium at night.

Is he eating well and acting normal when the lights are on? If so then he is fine.
