So a few weeks ago Meowzer posted that something was eating some of her Zoas. Later she post she thinks an amphipod was eating her coral. Well I debated that and thought no they arent. Since that day I have kept a watchful eye out and recently I have noticed one of my corals irritated. Guess what I found in the mix of it all! YUP an amphipod.
thanks Meowzer, for some reason I think you did it to me.

Most likely a positive feedback loop. The amphipods will eat dead and dying zoanthids, this will irritate the healthy zoanthids to death and eventually they eat the dead left overs.
Some have had positive results with Iodine dips, and or increased flow to the area.
