Is this red slime algae?

Can anyone tell me if this is red slime algae?
This picture was taken... maybe 2 weeks ago?

and this was taken a few minutes ago

I'm starting to get a little worried about this as it seems to be popping up in other places too... but not as bad yet.

Yup...
You will notice it first in the places where things settle. Then in the places that get direct flow straight at/ on it.
Fix:
Less nutrients in, more nutrients out.

Skim more, feed less, stop any liquid foods for a while. By those I mean any phyto, oyster eggs, etc...
If you have a sock, change it daily. When you do a water change, do a little larger than normal, make sure your starting off with RODI tds 0. Syphon out what you can and be diligent about your water changes. At least once a week.
Whatever your feeding your fish, cut the amt in half til this stuff is gone. You only have a little bit, so you can nip it in the bud while it's still minimal.
