Is this sealant toxic?

I'm going to build a sump today and I bought some medium clear pvc cement. It says it can come into contact with potable water. Do you think it's safe to use in my tank? If not, what can I use?

I've never used pvc cement but I used some aquamend that is totally safe and can be found at Home Depot for about 4.00
