is this supposed to happen?

right next to the removable plate with the screws in it my mag 7 is rusting.what shoudl i do?will it do anything bad?

I remember reading about something like that a while back and I think you can get new screws for them.

Get aluminum screws or stainless steel to avoid the rust.

Or you could put a large blob of silicone over them. Large enough so you can pull it off if you ever feel the need to unscrew the thing.

Make sure usre it is aquarium silicone. regular household silicone can contaminate your water, permanently.

its not on my screws.....its creeping out from under the face plate.will the rust do anything bad?
