Is this temperature ok for fowlr?

i have a 75g fowlr. i have 2 emporer 400's, a 125g coralifre ss and 3 maxi jet 1200's. i set my heater to about 77f and when i got home it was about 81-82f (no fish yet, just lr). so i unplugged the heater and the temperature hasnt changed since about 4-5 days ago. i have a fluoecent light 50/50 (its not for corals, like the basic one) and the temperature goes up about 1-1.5 f by the time i get home, is that ok?
so my questions are is there any way to lower my tank temp, or is the current 80-82f ok? and is it ok if the tank temp raise 1-1.5 f during the day?
ps: my tank is not near a window or vent, and the room temp is about75-76 f
any advice will help thanks

Yes that should be okay. Bring your heater up to about 80 and that will minimize temperature fluctuations. You can also point a fan across the the top of your tank to help keep it cool.

fish wont mind the temp being that high, becasue i read in alot of places to keep the tank between 75-78

In reality, most of the fish collected for aquariums are collected in shallow waters, and the temp there is 80 - 82 degrees, very few fish are collected from deeper waters.

i have an instant ocean hydrometer, it doesnt say anywhere on the package about what it is calibrated at. what should the specific gravity be at around 80-82f? my tank is currently just under 1.023, but im not sure if that is less at higher temperatures. ( im only keeping fish shrimp snails etc.) i plan on getting a refractometer soon, but dont have the money right now.

I also have the IO Hydrometer. My tank is at 1.026 SG and 80.5-81.5 degrees. Having inverts, you want a SG higher than 1.023, I believe they prefer at least 1.025

when you mean inverts do you mean, snails shrimps etc, or are you talking about corals? or both? i thought it was only corals that need a high sg.

ok but someone said earlier that the sg should be 1.025/26 on an io hydometer but the chart is this link (at the bottom) says that the temperature does make a difference, and the salinity measure will be lower at higher temperatures. does this mean that the sg should be higher at higher temps? im so confuzed!

Invertebtrates is a word that includes the animals that you have mentioned as well as corals.
The word itself means, liberally, "without vertabrae". No skeletal backbone.

What part of the tank do you keep your thermometer? High, closer to the waterline or low close to the tank bottom?

the thermometer-medium low to one side if the tank on the side glass
the heater - medium low in the middle back of the tank (back glass)
