Is this to expensive for a full setup??

I looked at one of these a while back; nice way to fill a corner. I deciderd it was too tall; most of the water column is empty most of the time and the small surface area reduces capacity. Buy, you could have a different idea than I did. The tank alone I saw was $1700+.
