Just wondering if it is okay to add alot of fish into a tank at once. My tank is a 55 gal and so far I only have 1 fish, a yellow watchman goby. I was thinking about ordering some fish from this site but didnt know if it would be bad to add them in all at once. Here's the list:
1 cleaner shrimp
3 neon gobies
1 firefish gobie
1 small hippo tang
1 yellow tang
1 royal gramma
It sounds like to much to me, but I dont know. I here it is good to add some fish such as tangs in all at once. Could someone please help me.
Thanks :D

sometimes it is a good idea to add fish at the same time some times it isnt. i wouldnt do the tangs in the 55 tank especially not 2 of them. and how long have you had the system set up and stuff.

with the exception of the tangs, I don't see any behavioral issues assuming you've got enough rockwork to create spaces for everybody.
its also a matter of your biofilter being able to handle the new fish. again with the exception of the tangs, I don't see this addition being too much for a modestly aged system (2 months +)
before adding a tang or similarly agressive fish to the tank, I would let the more passive fish establish their territories. Try to add your most agressive fish last.
good luck.

Depends on how established your tank is if you add them all at once (EXCEPT FOR THE TANGS) just cut back on feedings until your bacteria can catch up with the bio load...I stress again your tank is to small please do not add ANY TANGS :nervous:
