is this too many fish

in my 37g tank i have a yellow tail wrasse a falme hawk and a cleaner wrasse do yall think a purple tang would go with them or should i wait till i get a bigger tank

most people say wait...i'll say go ahead if the tang is small and a new tank is going to be there within the year.

If the tang is small, I would say go for it. Just realize that the larger the tang gets, the more space it will need to be "happy". And depending on the rate of feeding and genetics, some tangs grow fast.

a Purple tang will get big pretty quickly. try some clowns first and when you get the bigger tank established go for the tangs then.
Remember it's our responsibility to give these animals a good place to live.

a 37 gal is really small for even a small tang. Hold off till you get that 105 in may. Then after you have gone through your cycle put a tang in there
