is this too much lr?

for my lr in my 75 gallon tank i just found 126 pounds of premium figie live rock for 400$
is 126 to much for this aquascape .. i was thinking about having a large mountaid of rock in the middle with 2 samall caves on each side

u cant really have to much rock, i have around 115 lbs is my 55 and its about 3/4 of the way filled with rock, so ur 75 gallon would be filled a little less than that

Wait till you get it in and arranged how you like it. How dense the LR is will also effect how much room it takes up in your tank. I have solomans island LR in mine, it is not very dense so the pieces are much larger than say fiji LR because it has tunnels throughout the LR. I have 80 lbs in my 55 gal.

yeah and it really depend on what type of rock you get.. certain type of rock are heavier then others.. like tonga and marshal.. and home made rock is the heaiest of all.. about 1.5 heavier then fiji

winstew That looks like a tank full of rock how much water did it hold 10 gals. If it was mine I would get reid of some of it but that is just my opinion.

Its a Bow so it looks closer than it is.. 72 bow with 20 g in sump... I put 70G in it total after the rock

I also have a 20g with 40-45lbs of rock. I'm at work right now so I can't post a pic but I'll get one up later. :happyfish
