i upgraded, and i started using bigger powerheads, since the tank is bigger. well, i want to get a wave maker because i went to my LFS, and it looked amazing. so, i was wondering if this was any good.
Natural Wave™ Multi-Cycle Pump Timer
i would post a link, but that would be against the rules, so if you want a picture, go on google.
thanks in advance for all the help.

I've also been lookin into these but wasnt sure if I should buy the redsea wavemaster "at least 100$" or just a surge protecter type of one usually much less.

they are decent items...ive used one before and it seemed to work just fine for me. I no longer us it but its not a bad unit for the price from what ive used. I kind of like the seio unit as well..you can make it so it doesn't turn the pumps off completely...it just does high and low settings so you dont have to turn it on and off...kind of a nice feature it seems. It's more expensive though...or you could just get some tunze 6101s and a multi controller, but then its much more

i dicided to not get it. i did a little research and it said that if you run a sieo on a wavemaker, it will most likley burn it out, or break the shaft.

Have you looked into the Seio controllers? Yes they are pricey but they are designed for the Seio powerhead.

Yes they are called Seio controller, marine depot carries them $185. They do not turn the powerhead completly off it just slows down and then speeds it back up. Bad thing just one controller controls 2 pumps, like I said pricey though. Hope that helps ya.
