Not sure, but that sounds like compact flourescent lighting.
If you are wanting corals that demand good lighting, you need High Output T-5's with individual reflectors or Metal Halides.

If it is, then that is a good deal. I was not sure and stated so. Sorry for the mistake!

That's okay! I didn't write that part, I just implied. So you think it's a good price? I'm nervous about making a large purchase if I could get something better for around the same price. I'm hoping not to go over $275ish if I don't have too. I know once I upgade a few years down the road I will have too.

I checked out both. Craig's in Maine doesn't offer much, and the bay I only found 4 and I did not like them, and over priced for used! So i think I may get these lights :) thanks for the help!!

Good deal then! I've only seen those fixtures for around $280

The real question is, how many power cords does it have? If two, one for lunars, one for all the bulbs, its not a good deal. If it has 3, well, you got yourself a deal!!!

I had this fixture, as a starter on my very first tank. I liked it a lot but in soon found that i needed an upgrade. I did find that it was worth the money though. :)

It says:
"Two independent circuits with 6 ft. grounded power cords independently control 10,000K Daylight lamps and 460nm Actinic Blue lamps. Moon White Lunar Lights operate on their own transformer, providing complete control of timing periods."
is that a good deal? two cords but they do not go to the moon lights

Oh I will!!! I am sooo excited! Can I have any type of coral under these lights?

I don't know anything about T5s, I understand they are as good as MH lights, which I am familiar with. IF
that is true then, YES.
