Is to much current bad for polyps

Hello I have a 50 gallon tank i just recently was given a power head 802 from my friend and have placed it in my tank it really gets the water moving. Can to much current be bad for my polyps i have noticed some of them are bending a little from the water movement but i have heard the more water movement the better?

They need a medium flow across them, if there bending a little there probly ok, but no more than that. goodluck and maybe some one else will chime in and answer too.

Thanks I turned the flow down on the power head a little bit.

Yeah most of them are medium flow but it wouldnt hurt to research cause I know it may go up or down depending on what you have.

it's as simple as moving them to a less turbulent area of the tank, provided they can still consume an appropriate amount of light.
