yeah, but that's cause men don't show their appreciation everyday like women do... if we were to stop the woman love, you guys would whine too...
and women do buy themselves jewelry, but it's more sentimental when they get it from their loved ones...
and i gave joe something he wanted... i said women want romance, not men... do you need my notebook again? As you said, men don't want romantic gifts for v-day... hence the appeal of a camera... women on the other hand do... hence the appeal of flowers and jewelry. We give you what you want. Is is so much to ask for something we want???
so what have we learned so far? 1. guys don't show love daily like women 2. guys aren't sentimental and therefore want gifts that don't mean anything 3. darth can't keep up so he must take notes... The message here is that men are inferior.

Well, this gal wants a new coral for V-day!! I will take my hubby out to dinner.
We need any excuse for attention-or PRESENTS!! since most of the guys I know dont exactly make a regular habit of showering us with gifts!!

Its a girls day. So I went and and got my lady a Seahorse tank. She is happier about this than any jewerly I ever gave her!!
Hmmmm, Christmas.... Hey baby I got you some fresh BULBS, and not the planting type!!!

exactly! And that's why we have so many 'holidays'... i just buy the hubby stuff all of the time because i love the look on his face when he gets it... you know when the last time he bought me something for no reason? I don't either!

i am making my guy some dessert! a no-bake thing since i'm at school with no access to an oven. he is going to keep me company at work tonight since i'm the newest at this store so everyone else gets it off! oh and most exciting of all!
HE'S TAKING ME TO CHICAGO TO GO TO SHEDD'S AQUARIUM ON THURSDAY!!! :jumping:
we were gonna go to an aquarium before but the weather got really bad and we couldn't make the drive.

Guys: the BEST v-day gift/plan ever would be to book a 2-day, 1-night getaway to some hotel somewhere (maybe in the mountains, at a beach, near an aquarium, amusement park...). Schedule the plans with her boss for the time off, book the hotel, and just wisk her away on v-day morning (or birthday, christmas, any holiday). ugh... incredibly romantic!!!

ooohhh, another good one would be a "pajama-gram"... look for it in your search engine... it's really cute! comes with pajamas and other stuff. You can send it to her work so everyone can see, along with a boquet of roses (this doesn't need to be extravagant... you don't need anything in a vase, maybe just a small boquet of a dozen roses (white), gerber dasies, cala lillies, or whatnot). sooo sweet! and it's even better when she doesn't have to ask you for it.
another good one would be a singing-gram at work... those are always good!!!

I vote for both girls and boys day.
It starts out as her day with the flowers, cards, and what not but ends up a guys day if you know what I mean. wink wink
