I'm at 94 hours and still no power. I have been running the generator most of the night and for about 45 minutes in the afternoon to re-oxygenate the water and bring the temp up. My Dad is still without power so we are sharing the generator. I haven't lost anything else yet (thank God!)
Mike,
Thanks again for the offer. I am almost afraid to move my stuff because the power company is in the area and I am afraid the move may be too stressful! I am still getting polyp extension from a good bit of them! I just am getting really tierd of this whole situation!! Ice cold showers suck!
chinnyr,
Try to hang in there!!!

Jon,
Thank you very much! Fortunately the power just came back on - I posted some storm pics in another post.
reefer44,
Thank you very much! My dad and I each live in seprate houses that is why we had to share the generator back an forth (lugging it each time). The generator size wound up being fine it only has 2 sockets but after adding some power strips I was able to run everything critical on both tanks (except the halides) and either the fridge or freezer. I had it most nights and for about a half hour to a hour in the afternoon. there was 1 day that I couldn't use it during the afternoon and my water temp & oxygen level dropped and that was when I lost the shrimp & fish.

attml....Lucky you!Glad you got your power back.Mine is probably not going to come back up until Thursday at the earliest. That's what the power company is sayin.Last night the strret behind me and next to me got power back. It's frustrating to see the neighbor with lights on and I am sitting in front of an oil lamp.I'm leaving the generator on longer now and things are improving a little.I lost my big Nepnthea last night. And,I did find a small frag of it behind a rock too,so all is not lost!
