Isnt it a bad Idea to put your hands in front of a mantis shrimp?

Mantis shrimp aren't necessarily bad, just in the wrong setup. This one seemed docile, but it would still be a bad idea to pick it up. They are capable of taking a finger or two off, I wouldn't doubt it. Especially one that is a foot long. Bad idea, yes. He probably knew what he was doing and knew that the shrimp wouldn't hurt him. He was probably showing off to his friends. In any case, that was a stupid idea...really stupid.
