I'm originally from Key West, tropical year round. Last spring I moved to north fla for job purposes. This morning I go out as usual to hose down the car that is full of dew. The temp is in the 30s. Ok, so I get in the car to get going to work. I can't see outside so I figure the windshield is fogged up. I turn on the window wipers and hear this grinding sound. Oh, oh. There appears to be a problem with the windshield wipers. They aren't working. The windshield is still fogged up and the wipes are just making a grinding noise as they pass over the windshield. It dawns on me. ICE. My car is covered in ice, even the moon roof. So cool. Ice for Christmas for the first time.

OMG Hot!! I love that tree. I went up north and they were everywhere last year, but here in Charlotte they are only in white and I am not a fan of white lights. I sure wish I could get one of those...wanna swap for a coral??

Thanks and no way. Only 2 days outa the whole year. Well, this year it took me a week to get them up since I only did a few strands a day. I always swear I'm gonna put them up in Oct, so it ain't so cold but this year I got them done the first week in Dec. I bought all that stuff after Christmas last year. Can't wait to see what awaits me this year. I cannot pay the asking price for this stuff.

Christmas is without a doubt my favorite time of the year! :cheer: I still have some shopping to do but some of it is on the way via UPS. I'm on vacation for the next two weeks so I plan on having some fun with my son and daughter and just enjoying the Christmas season.

Dude....can they PLEASE have a radio station that play Christmas music all year long???
PLEASE?????
I was in a chior all through high school, and one year we went to do a Hanuka show in the World Trade center (after they'd been rebuilt from the first bombing...::sigh::). After the show was over, we were allowed a couple hours to roam around the mall there.... so a bunch of us got together and went caroling through the mall!!!
Imagine the annoyed look on my chior director's face when she caught a bunch of Jewish kids who'd just done a Hanuka show singing "Silent Night" in the middle of the world trade center

But it was ok.... people loved us, and we donated all the money they gave us (For some reason pple started dropping coins and dollar bills as we sang!) to a local soup kitchen. She couldn't be TOO mad about it

Point is.... I LOVE Christmas carols. Like....more than I probably should. :hilarious

I love Christmas music too!! But I cannot stress enough that I HATE the Carpenters!! And they are on the Christmas stations like every other song!!
I love the Christmas music that is not carols too like, "Gramma got ran over by a reindeer" and "I wanna hippopotamus for Christmas", and my brother found a song..."Christmas balls, Christmas balls, I got great big Christmas balls"
LOL

I'd like to have something like the best all round, with the standard christmas songs and christmas religous songs as well. I'm not going to buy anymore cds, though, unless I know what's on it.
