My overflow for my tanks tend to be a little loud... How can i make them a little quieter??

Are they reef ready tanks? or over the side overflows?

I have those too and I would highly recomend the Durso I have to hang on overflows and thanks to Broncofish I have a durso in each and the only thing you here is the water in the wet/dry

I hear that a lot but I have yet to find a box I could not fit them in. I like them better than the stockman(seem a little quieter) I've put 3/4" ones's in GrumpOldMans, and the 1" one in Ranes

Also the Overflow can be angled into a corner for extra room as well as trimming parts of the elbow to make it even smaller. I like Broncofish like the Durso design better in that it does seem quieter than a stockman.

thank you everyone.... I ended up useing a Durso Standpipe. It has completly eliminated the gurgleing.

Has anyone noticed a lower/slower flow rate of water to the sump after the install of the durso or stockman???
