Its nice to be in California! Naturally, a lot of importers are based here, and as such the low prices trickle down.
So anyway, just got a purple tang!! I'm pretty excited, this is venture into the more expensive, exotic fish (meaning not the standard clown, or butterflyfish).

Fish Fantasy = real cheap and i mean REAL.. ive gotten a lot of stuff from there.... got a huge frogspawn with 5 heads for 40 dollars. and other stuff.
Treasures of the Sea = the lady there, krysten, is real nice and you can tell she cares about the fish and all... calls them "my babies". she has some nice stuff all the time.... i got my sexy shrimp there n other stuff...
Coral Sea = they have good stuff but are expensive... i like going there to look at the setups they have though. they have a 300 gallon tank, a 150 and a 125 set up in there... they have real rare fish in them real nice..
those are all ive been to so far here

Yeah, haphazardly I met a distributor who ships mass quantities to stores in the US. Then he just sells some of the species in his Freshwater store. For instance, my purple tang I just got was $25, and he is healthy too, and pretty big (maybe 3 or 4 inches).

The albertsons by me has a buge beer cooler that customers can walk in, and grab cold beer, so i can just go in there and hang out for a while, but where i live, its too hot anywhere you go...
