To add a CUC !!!

My tank is a 28g and has been running for 1 month. Cycle has been finished but i wanted to let the tank levels kinda settle and stabilize before adding anything and my temp was high but my chiller will be here wen.
I have a few diatoms and have picked 5 or 6 small green hair algea off of LR but thats all. I have been running my tank lights for 8 hrs total ( 150w hal. and 36w actinic ) but shut them off for last two days. Will start running them again after chiller shows up.
Levels are
AMM 0
trite 0
trate 10-15 color charts suck
Ph 8.4
Cal. 420
KH 143.2
Phosphate 0-0.5 color charts suck
SG 1.025
temp 81
What should i order for a CUC excluding crabs for this size tank. Can i add a fire shrimp at the same time?
My longterm goal is 2 Rods onynx and maybe a blennie or goby and corals.
Also on another note...when using the API kit for testing Cal. directions say count drop until color goes from pink to purple then once it turns purple 1 or 2 more drops should turn water blue to match the endpoint color located below( theres a purple box on directions) Question is the box is purple not blue. Once i add the 2 other drops the color no longer matches the box on the instructions???? The color purple i get in test tube matches whats on the directions until i add the other drop or two. It is confusing to me.

not sure what you are asking on number one are you looking for a clean up crew excluding crabs?
on number 2 I beleive that the color purple referenced is to tall you where you want to be then after that it will change quickly to get to the final stage of where you want to count to. not exactly sure though since I havent had API for a while now so I cant go look at them/

For cuc:
JMHO:
I would get a good mixture of snails; turbo,Astaea, mini turbos, Margarita,Trochus, nerita, and a couple Ceriths. A shrimp should be fine also. Make sure you acclimate slowly they are very sensitive.
