Well, I had a pit, and she was G R E A T with infants!! Obviously, I never left her alone with a baby, but you don't leave ANY dog alone with a baby. But I feel a Great Dane is fine with kids. I mean, its not like you'd just leave the dog alone with the kid, at least not until it got old enough anyway. JMO. But anyway, to try to get this thread back on track, what an adorable puppy ya got there Bronco!!

there is alot of open space, but not in the community where the dog lives (no pun intended
) I am talking about her back yard and house where the dog will spend the majority of its time...

Might even throw in a crisp ten dollar bill for your troubles.

It should be fine. They aren't exactly an "active" dog. They are bug, but LAZY!!!!! Mine spend more time laying around. I have a half acre yard and they spend most oftheir time sleeping in it. The most action I see is at the dog park....they do one sprint down it...then done. They lay down.
Your ex-wife should be fine. Some people call them apartment dogs.

Mmmmmkay. Luke. That puppy is a cute. A cute cute.
A fuzzy-wuzzy-cutey facey-headed-taily-wag.
He has to sleep in the crate! He can't go in the house! You MUST be strong! Let him cry at night and learn to go to the bathroom outside! I know you have the potential to be a very good puppy-daddy, you just have to be consistant.
Mazal Tov on your new addition! Now get married!
