the only problem is if 1 person posts it , its going to be their opinion, so mabey they say a yellow tang needs a 45 gallon, someone else would say it needs a 55, some a 75, some a 90, some people say they need a 100+, so in the end it wouldnt really be worth it

Well thats because ppl say there opinion.. This should be like lion craz or someone who know what they are talkin bout.. Im sure everyone here is tired so we can all agree on something.. If not ill make it and use my opinion..

It all comes down to opinion on tank size issues. There is really no standard for it. For instance, I feel the minimum tank size for a tang is a 125 gallon. Others say a yellow, purple, scopas, and sailfin are fine ina 90. It is a matter of opinion on this one.

I don't think its right to fault a person for asking a question even if it has been asked a hundred times. I think its great that people are asking first. I far from no everything and ask questions myself. Thats what the whole message board is about. IMO

While I do agree that there should be some standard list compiled, the problem is that it all comes down to opinion on tank size issues. There is really no standard for it. Thank you for the great compliment though! In no way do I consider myself an expert, but I do feel that I have a pretty wide array of knowledge because of the amount of experience I have in the hobby.

I see where you are going and I do agree. I just like helping ppl out and feel bad for the people that dont get responses(kause it hapens to me). And I feel like helping them but every 5 mins someone asks if they can put a yellow in a 29.. Jut bugs mee oh well

I absolutely agree, but it will always go on because there will always be that one person that says a volitan lion is fine in a 55 gallon tank, or a porcupine puffer is okay in a 30 gallon.
