I've just about HAD it!!

I change the carbon packets in my Whisper filter on my reef, and then VERY next day, the water is spilling out from where the siphon tube is inserted!! I'm going through carbon and filter media like a hot knife through butter...it's ridiculous!! Then to top it off, my stupid skimmer (Seaclone 100) stops working every time I turn around...Arrrrrgggghhhh...I can't stand it!!

my advice would be to get rid of the whisper and the seaclone. If you had a better skimmer you wouldn't even need the whisper. Just replace it with a couple of powerheads for flow.
