i know its hard to tell, but how much current should xenia be getting? i have some pulsing xenia, strong lighting... should they be kind of waving, or what...well, what should i not see...like bending over and such or what...
also, that xenia that looks like a palm tree, is that okay to get in a tank that already has xenia? and does that pulse or anything? thanks....
oh, and i'm asking you because i saw your post for draxx and it looks like you have some experience with them...BTW, if anyone else wants to help out, i welcome it fully =-)

Yes they can be in semi direct current- mine waves around slightly and IME they seem to pulse more with better water flow- yes you can mix Xenia species- the one i have is a Pom Pom- here is that pic again

also i like this one the best b/c of the color, formation, and they dont grow like weeds so it is easy to control their growth

I have mine in moderate water flow and they pulse like mad. Hey kickster lookin' good :cool: , has it started reproducing yet? Here is a pic of mine pulsing.

Hey Bdub- ya- if you look at the pic you can see several branches coming off- there are about 5 total and 2 offshoutes at the base:D
