jawfish trouble

i got a pearly jawfish last week and he hasnt eaten yet. He is always in his burrow because my ocellaris clowns are mean to him. when i feed he seems interested but the food never gets down to him cause the current blows it past his hole.
How do I feed him?

if u have something u use to spot feed your corals use that and put the food right in front of him maybe

He may get spooked but put your hand right into his burrow and place the food in it.

+1. try shutting off the flow and putting the food right by his burrow.

i squirted some mysid shrimp into his burrow, but am not sure if he got it or not??? the shrimp and crabs were trying to break into his house to get it and I had to keep squirting them to stay away!
