came home today and there are spots of red algea ?!??! Is this new tank normal ?!?!

Ah ok. When u get home test. Probably need a water change. I've never had luck with chromis myself tho

ah, my mom said she was told they are a great easy first fish that's why she got it

There a damsel so that should be true. I just have no luck with them.

Same here never had one survive more than a couple weeks.

4 gallons are almost ready for a water change ?

Any other thoughts ?

I just realized I haven't topped off my tank with distilled water all week ...... and my 5 year old is asleep on my arm and I can't move to test salinity .... ugh

No it was fine, but doing a water change this morning.

Now about this algea, should I take my glass magnet cleaner and clean it off the glass or really just leave it ?
