Nope if you read above, this is a hood for the tank, an upgrade for people who have the 24g deluxe, buty want sps, lps, or clams. You can also get the tank only online for like 100$ so I think 250$ for the nano and hood is a good deal since the retail for this hood new is 250$

I know that but it can be used on tank with a little work thats why i need to know.

Yes, with a little modifications, it could fit over a different aquarium. Its plastic, so you could even retrofit it to be hung over the tank.
