just ordered a jebo 13 watt UV. I will let you know how the quality is when i get it. For the price you cant beat it unless it is a complete piece of junk.

Turning Tim, I'm out in Lakewood. My 2 favorite LFS are Broadway Tropicals and Keys Island. They are good. Drop me an email at pod_nuh@yahoo.com.

My 55 gallon came W/Jebo lighting. I bought the tank used and it came W/everything I needed for a reef. It's 48'' long and is a total of 220 watts. It has two 10,000 daylight bulbs (55 watts each) and two attinics (55 watts each). They work well and give the tank a great hue of color, but they suck at growing and sustaning coraline algae. I looked on that famous on-line auction site and they go for about $70 bucks, lamps included. IMO, you get what you pay for. It seems all of the other power compacts in the market that are 48" long and have 220 watts of power start out at about $270, and these are only $70...?....?...?...? makes you wonder how good they really are. The same with their protein skimmers and canister filters. Look on that famous on-line auction site and search for "Jebo" and you will see that their protein skimmers (pump included) are only about $40 bucks, and their big canister filters are about $45.

I think alot of it is paying for a name, just like anything else. I have a knock off CPR BakPak skimmer, and the ONLY diffrence is the powerhead that came with it is a bigger piece of crap then the RIOs that come with the real CPR. So I get myself a nice PH and I have a great skimmer at half the price. You can do the same with the Jebo. If it is contructed well, the design is probably the same as some expensive brand out there, so replace the powerhead with a decent one and you will have every bit the skimmer for $60 than is you went out and spent $150.
