My JEBO lights which prior today would have said are "GOOD ENOUGH" i just woke up today to a dark tank,, my lightingsystem was extremely hot and no fans were on, which leads me to beleive that something broke-down internally,,, I have had them for about 6 months,, and even though they are rated at 130w,, I just put on my old 65w coralife pc's,, I SWEAR TO GOD IT IS MUCH BRIGHTER,, just goes to show,, you really really get what you pay for!

Get the carpet cleaner!!!!

It is true that you get what you pay for. With JEBO, it is a crapshoot. Some people have had the same fixture for years, others (like you) have it go bad quickly. Better off spending a little more money on something that lasts!

I try to let everyone know that these things are junk but alot of people seem to insist these lights are good enough???
The same thing happened to me on my 55 gallon.
Good luck!

Unfortunately, you really can't tell 100%. Go with what other people have recommended. Don't go with "good enough", go with "good" or "great". Prepare to spend a little more. A really low price is an indicator of lower quality (most of the time) in this hobby. Better yet, make your own canopy with a retrofit kit, that way you know how well it is put together!!
