jebo protien skimmer help

hust bought a jebo 182 protein skimmer from a guy here on swf..com and the collection cup fills up instantly.. i did not get any directions with this please HELP

I am not familiar with this skimmer...can you adjust the cup height? Or there any adjustments on the skimmer? You may be able to download the user manual on their site...if they have one.

nope cup does not adjust and there is no site for the company:help:

try adjusting the air intake...also, do you use slime coat or water treatments when topping the tank off? This will sometimes cause excessive wet foam. ALso, skimmers do have a breakin period. I purchased a Remora Pro and it drove me crazy the first few days.

I have the same skimmer you need to make sure to adjust the air intake so that the water levels are just above the bottom of the cup line where the base of the cone starts.
If that does not make sense I might be able to post some pics later tonight

the venturi tube connects under the sponge that covers the intake
