Hi Everyone,
Ok here is the story, so I bought a tank set up for $100 and with it came some great equipment as well as some sub-par stuff (i.e. jebo skimmer). I am getting ready to go home for the summer and am leaving a fish-less tank at my girlfriends house so i never set up the skimmer.
Today I went over and decided to hook it up while I was there and ran into a problem. It seems that the jebo pump is is placing an isane amount of micro bubbles into the tank the upper right section of the tank (no coincidence it is near the skimmer pump)
Also I was wondering if i should even be running the skimmer. Right now i have some hermit crabs, some small zoos, and xenia as well as something else i can not ID. I am trying to get plankton and pods to grow in the tank but placing small amounts of "black powder" ---- in it.
If anyone else has had this problem please let me know what is wrong besides just running a jebo skimmer
Thanks
